Collins arena rules:  We reserve the right to change the format and change or assign #.  All ropings are 3-head progressive on one, except the GEO Classic.  The face rule will apply.  The #13 Handicap will be straight time for #13, then 2 seconds added for every number over 13 and 2 seconds subtracted for every number under 13.

Call for weather updates—they will have a recorded message with arena conditions.

Each year points are kept on the KWHA state level for qualification for the State Show and for the year end awards.

Here is a blank spreadsheet that can be used to keep your points on.

It is YOUR responsibility to keep track of each family member’s points from each show that you attend.

Here is an example of mine from 2008

Horsemanship for 1-9, 10-13, and 14-17; Western Pleasure for Women, Sr Women, Men, and Sr Men;

Reining for Juniors, Women, Sr Women, Men, and Sr Men

Race Events (Each is for all age groups unless otherwise noted)

Flying W, Cloverleaf, Pole Bending, Barrel & Stake (1-9 only has one pole), Flag Race, Key Race, Figure 8 Stake, Keg Bending,

Straight Barrels, Two-Barrel Flag (no 1-9), Polo Turn, Speed Barrels, Half 8 Race, Lead Back (1-9, 10-13, and 14-17)

Also remember that if you are filling in the pleasure and/or running events entries on your own, include ALL pleasure and/or running events that are listed on the showbill, in the order they are listed in the Herald, regardless of whether you are riding in them or not.

The WHOLE show is to be listed on one sheet, even if it is held over a period of two days.
